If I played some music right off my computer onto a radio station would you
sue me?

Gee, sorry.. I feel so unappreciated.. <sniff> =)
Honestly, though. I don't understand. I haven't been posting the messages
whether one thing sucks or not.. I've been providing and asking for info.
And, so far, it seems like KLF-TALK is doing rather good job of it.. better
than c.s.i.p.d or a.b.s.m ever could.

On a side note, I think alt.music.kosmic is finally wending its way around
civilisation, so look out for it at an internet provider near you :)

Awww man :(
I have 2 megs free on my 50 meg kosmic mirror partition - i think it is time
to invest in a new hard drive <grin>
After playing every single klf release (well, not these new old ones :) I'd
just like to say you guys should look at the older 93 stuff, some of it is
really good (alot better than the recent stuff IMHO)

There there, it's allright. I didn't mean to drive anybody off the list or
blame all the problems on certain people. Those (including yours) were names
I just saw pop up a lot. Actually, the amount of posting _has_ leveled off
a little. But if we indeed ARE better than c.s.i.p.d and a.b.s.m., then maybe
we should change the list from "KLF-Talk" into "MOD-talk" or "Tracker-talk"
or whatever. Then I guess another "Kosmic-Talk" list would inevitably form.

Any in particular you can suggest? I only have 1 or 2 from 1993.

I tried that site but after 32k transfered in 10 min I gave up... I'll have
to go through a FTP-Mail server for this site.

Not to be a pain.. (though I have no illusions about this.. I'm just not
trying to be one).. but where is all the music? How long has it been since
the last Kosmic release? I've had to go scrounging around AmiNet, Starport,
and various HORNET uploads to satisfy my mod cravings, and needless to say,
the results have been, by and large, not at all pretty. What are you all
up to?

Subject: [KLF-TALK:1600] Starplayer 2.10
Starplayer 2.10 has now been released in the usual places as starp210.zip...
welcome to another release of starplayer. for those who dont already know,
starplayer is a protected mode s3m/mod player for the PC which allows up to 8
modules to be loaded into extended ram simultaneously. when loaded they can
be swapped by the use of several hot-keys from within a DOS shell, completely
transparent to the foreground program.
STARPLAYER NOW SUPPORTS THE SOUNDBLASTER SERIES OF SOUNDCARDS!!!
at the moment only 8-bit mono output is supported, with variable mixing rates
up to 44khz.
enjoy :)
